Butts will lead us in the second half of worship as we explore a contemporary issue that impacts families of all types. An exploration of what is at stake in this issue.

April, 11, 2010 - Rev. Roger Butts - “Subversive Acts of Compassion: The Zookeeper’s Wife” (Holocaust Remembrance). Special Music by Herman Sasser. Exploring together the importance of remembering the Holocaust by telling a remarkably hopeful story about two Warsaw residents--zookeepers both--who saved hundreds of Jews and Polish resisters by using what was close at hand and their creativity and compassion.
