UUismUnitarian Universalists have no creed, no shared doctrine. Sometimes, people say that Unitarian Universalists believe whatever they want: but that’s not quite right. We believe what our experience, our reason, and most of all, our conscience, tells us is true. We hold a variety of views on the divine, on human nature, on good and evil, and we practice spiritual habits from a variety of traditions, including Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, and Earth-Centered Traditions. As a whole, we value openness, integrity, wisdom, the earth, and the dignity of each person. |
