Now Hiring Summer Supervisors!

Would you like to support our summer education classes for children? HPCUU is hiring 2-3 summer supervisors to oversee our summer programming.

Summer Supervisors are responsible for maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment for our children as well as coordinating with guest presenters and supporting all summer programming, with direction from our Director of Faith Formation and Faith Formation team.

A minimum of 5-7 Sundays from Jun. 2nd – August 25th is required. Hours from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. will be paid at $12/hr.

To apply send resume and cover letter to Jessica Laikeman, Director of Faith Formation by May 5th.

Applicants should be over 18, have experience working with children and youth, and possess strong time management skills and a positive attitude.

Share Your Passion – Volunteers Needed!

Do you have a hobby or passion you would like to share with our children and youth? This is your chance! Each week this summer a different member of the congregation will lead a hands-on all-ages workshop. You pick the topic, give Jessica a supply list and then pick a Sunday during the summer to share your passion.

A summer supervisor will be there to help with classroom management and logistics — all you have to do is bring your passion!

Workshops can be anything from craft activities to music or dance, social justice to palm reading or gardening.

If you are interested in leading a class this summer please email Jessica Laikeman with the details of your workshop idea, which Sundays you are available and any supplies you will need.

Summer classes start June 2nd and run through August 25th.
