While St. Valentine’s Day asks us to consider romantic love and passion, we want to dump cold water all over that and ask what does it mean to trust in terms of relationships… primarily long-term adult couples, but also with children, family, and ourselves. What are we trusting in? This will be an experimental, dialogical sermon between Julia and Nathan. We’re also willing to have a Q&A/conversation period if folks are interested.
Julia Mesnikoff has bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and math and master’s in both comparative religion and nursing. Nathan is an ordained UU minister and hospital chaplain. Nathan did his undergrad in eastern religious studies and graduate work in comparative religion and philosophy of religion. They’ve been together since 1995 and have a school-age son.
