High Plains Church Unitarian Universalist was founded in 1994 to create a home for liberal religion in northern Colorado Springs, creating a place where people can celebrate together regardless of personal creed and work together for peace, justice, and understanding.

Over the years, High Plains Church has met in many different locations, including storefronts, elementary schools, and middle schools. In 2007, the church purchased its own building at 1825 Dominion Way.  Read about that property here.  This building was sold in 2018 when we moved to the Unity Center at 1945 Mesa Rd.
