A Personal Look at the Traditional, Spiritual Beliefs and Practices of Contemporary Native American Indians

Come explore Native American spirituality as different from “religion” and understand the major values and beliefs that drive the practices of modern indigenous peoples. We will also ask the question: Why the resurgence of Traditional ways globally — now? Our guest speaker has ethnic origins in the Southern Ute, Eastern Cherokee, and the Chiracahua Apache Native American lineages. She is a Senior Instructor Emeritus of the Department of Communication at UCCS, and was Course Director for both Interpersonal & Intercultural Communication. She offers presentations about Intercultural Communication & Native American Indian Community. She is a grandmother of 4 and also a 21-Year Cancer Survivor.
