Join us for Online Worship Service
This Sunday, we begin our holiday worship series on JOY. Yet, the holidays can be a difficult time for those who are dealing with loss of some kind, especially as COVID seems so relentless and ongoing. And certainly, joy might indeed be elusive. But the phrase from the Hebrew Psalmist, “Joy comes in the morning.” could also be “Joy comes in the mourning.” We can discover that joy is not about denying suffering, but in fact, embracing the depths of all of life’s emotions may be the very thing that allows us to feel the heights as well. Joy is possible when we understand suffering; It is the school of compassion and love. This service will provide some space for sacred grief, as well as, sparking the flames of hope and gratitude.
