Our Blueish Holiday

The holidays often set up big expectations that are hard if not impossible to fulfill. People sometimes keep up the smiling face or the “family front” just to look like they are creating what a holiday should be, but inside they are feeling differently. Ironically, the holiday season often brings difficult feelings for folks: loss of love, exclusion from family, holiday overwhelm, etc… One of the primary responsibilities a congregation is to gather up wisdom and support to hold one another during these times. We will offer this ritual and worship.
