It’s time to celebrate the start of our new church year with some outdoor fun! Out of concern over the rising positivity figures in ElPaso County, the Board has decided it is best not to potluck yet – so please bring your own picnic sandwiches or salads for yourself and your family! Your Fellowship Team will provide individually packaged chips and individually packaged desserts.WHERE: Black Forest Regional Park, 4800 Shoup Rd, Colorado Springs 80908, Pavillion #1
WHEN: Sun., August 22nd, 11 am-4:30 pm…stay as long as you wish! Let’s plan to picnic at noon.
WHAT TO BRING:
- Bring your own sandwich or salads. Your Fellowship Team will provide individually packaged chips, desserts, and paper goods.
- Non-alcoholic beverage(s)
- Lawnchair(s)
- Sunscreen, Hand Sanitizer
- Outdoor sports equipment, games, musical instruments … whatever you need to enjoy a fun day in the park with your church friends!
DIRECTIONS: From I-25, take Exit 153. Go north on Hwy 83 to Shoup Road; turn east on Shoup and continue 2.5 miles to Milam Road. Turn north into the park. The second parking area (just past the equestrian lot) will be closest to Pavillion #1.
NOTE: this FUUNday & Potluck Picnic will be held rain or shine and will replace our church service on Sunday, August 22nd.
