The 8th Principle calls us to live out justice on a daily basis and commit to forming an intentional, Beloved Community — instead of allowing an unjust community to form by default. To build sustainable futures, we need to face history, face the truth, and move forward together in faith.

Paula Cole Jones is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist and a Management Consultant with over twenty years of experience in designing and facilitating workshops for leaders and organizations. She is an innovator of institutional change. Her work includes being a leader in advancing the 8th Principle and the Community of Communities as practices of the Beloved Community. Recently, Paula received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity degree from Meadville Lombard Theological School. She is currently serving on the UUA’s Article II Study Commission.
