As the climate crisis deepens, we cannot take water for granted anywhere. We must fight to protect everyone’s right to clean, affordable public water.  Western drought isn’t going anywhere in the near future.  It’s time to rethink water use.

While visiting the Colorado Springs Utilities Conservation Education Center last month, we learned of some water-wise recommendations. Today we will hear from Julia Gallucci, a Water Conservation Supervisor at Colorado Springs Utilities.  She recently joined three other women with significant expertise and unique perspectives related to water issues in our city, area, state, and region.  The panelists revealed extremely complex challenges and no easy solutions.
